As 2007 comes to an end and we look to
2008 it is important to take stock in
what you have accomplished this year and
know what you would like to accomplish
next year. There is no substitute for a
written business plan and goal list.
Studies show that 95% of those who
acheive their goals on a regular basis
have WRITTEN goals that are reviewed
frequently.
So, where do you begin? Start by
deciding how much time you are willing
to spend on growing your business and
how much vacation you will take this
year. Using this information develop a
schedule for prospecting, following up
with past clients and current business.
Remember, no matter how busy you are
today, you must prospect every week to
keep consistent business.
Lastly, when setting goals keep these
things in mind - in order to acheive
goals, you must know WHY you want to
acheive that goal. You must also know
what you will be giving up if you don't
acheive it AND what you will give up if
you DO acheive it! Make the why strong
